This commission consists of five members serving two year terms.


The purpose of this commission is to:

Review and assess all existing memorials for veterans and to recommend action for their repair and maintenance to the town council;

Make recommendations to the town council with regard to memorials that would honor all of the town's veterans who served in all officially recognized wars and conflicts, as they may deem appropriate; and

Organize and collaborate with other town agencies and outside groups to assist and facilitate events to recognize veterans, including but not limited to, Memorial Day services and luncheons, recreational events with veteran themes, and Veterans Day events, and

Take such action as authorized by the town council with respect to its recommendations.
